The Passion Play at Oberammergau began in 1634 and continues to be performed once every 10 years. More than 2,000 locals, actors, singers, instrumentalists and stage technicians bring to the stage those events Christianity regards as it's central source of life and hope.

    Sample Day-by-Day Itinerary:

    Day 1: Arrival Munich
    During the day we arrive in Munich and transfer to our hotel. The afternoon will be free. In the evening, we will attend a Bavarian folklore show and enjoy typical Bavarian “Gemütlichkeit“ with a traditional dinner. Please note transfers are additional if you book your own airfare

    Day 2: Munich - Oberammergau
    After breakfast, our morning sightseeing tour of Munich includes the Marienplatz with the famous Glockenspiel and an outside visit of Nymphenburg Palace. After lunch, we enjoy a wonderful ride through the Bavarian countryside to Oberammergau.

    Day 3: Oberammergau (Performance Day)
    The highlight of our tour will take place today when we attend the performance of the world-famous Oberammergau Passion Play.

    Day 4: Departure Oberammergau
    This morning transfer to Munich airport or Munich train station for your transportation to join your seleced 206 Tours pilgrimage or your return home.
